Torso Kingpin is
a three piece band of the loud,
bombastic and powerful kind, with guitarist/vocalist
Bob Brasier, bassist Tim
Davis and drummer
Lyle Derby.
These 4-track recordings capture the
raw and visceral energy of
torsokingpin on their home turf. The
second release is a very grungy and
guaranteed-to-pin-you-to-the wall song
called "I
Don't Wanna Go Back." This to
be followed by "Around My
Purpose" and "Man Says
Destroy."
An
amusing detail during the recording of
these songs, is that the band Korn just
happened to be rehearsing next door
and paid TKP a visit, indicating that
we were way too loud and asking in a
neighborly way, if we could turn down
the volume.
